SOUFRA is a wildly inspirational story of intrepid social entrepreneur, Mariam Shaar, who has spent her entire life in a refugee camp near Beirut, Lebanon. Against all odds, Miriam sets out to launch a catering company along with a diverse team of fellow refugee women who bring to the table their grit, humor and recipes from their respective homelands. Together they heal the wounds of war through the unifying power of food.
